Best Picture Ever!

Random pictures

Here are some other Random Pictures from 2012 that I found and loved :)

18 Months

Big boy at the doctor!!

Cinderella Bed

One day while Madison Claire was at school, her elf Howie, made her bed like Cinderella's carriage!  She was very surprised when she came home1

Operation Christmas Child

Ryan and I have made boxes for Operation Christmas Child every year since we've been married.  This year, we were so excited to have Madison Claire actually get to help pick out some toys and participate.  She has been having a really sweet heart lately.  She's been praying for kids that don't have any toys, or any beds, or any houses and saying things like "Mommy, we could give some of my toys to those kids" or "Mommy, I have an idea - how about if they don't have a house or a bed, they could come stay with me in my room", so I thought she would be so excited to do this!

Well...we went to Target and as we were going in, we said "Madison Claire - remember, today is about picking out things for a little girl who doesn't have very much.  It's not for you, but you can help pick out some things that you like for us to give the little girl."  We started out in the dollar zone and it didn't take 30 seconds for the meltdown to occur.  She found something she liked and asked if she could get it too.  We told her "no...today is about getting gifts for another little girl" and my child who does not throw tantrums in public, proceeded to totally completely lose it for the ENTIRE Target trip.  Forget her picking things out, forget her being excited about it, forget her participating - TOTAL DISASTER!!!!

She did have fun putting the box together and dropping it off at church.  Maybe next year, she will appreciate the buying aspect as well!

Howie & Buddy

Our elves arrived when we got back from Thanksgiving.  This year, Madison Claire's elf, Howie, had a friend with him.  We named him Buddy, and he is Mac's elf!  The kids had a lot of fun finding the elves each morning.  The first day, one of them was in the dining room and the other one was in my office. Mac literally ran back and forth between each room, pointing and squealing, for at least 5 minutes.  Wish I had it on video!

Madison Claire was always the hunter each morning, trying to find them, and then she would immediately get Mac and show him.  Precious.

Zoo Lights

We had a fun night out at the zoo with our friends the Proctors seeing the Christmas lights! We are so thankful for David, Mandy, Grayson & Addy!  This was also the only time that the kids sat on Santa's lap this Christmas...we had intentions of going again, but it didn't happen.  Mac was very curious :)
